Visit to Book Fare 22-09-2012

| To inculcate the literary culture and to improve reading habits among the students a visit to book fare was organized. Students choose and bought the various literature books under the guidance of S. Kulwinder Singh. |
World Ozone Day 17-09-2012

| To aware thyself, about the importance of environment World Ozone Day was observed. Students presented through power point presentation the effect of pollution on environment. |
NAAC Award Ceremony 16-09-2012

| It is a moment of great pride and honor for Baba Farid College of Education under the aegis of Baba Farid Group of Institutions that BFCE achieved ‘A’ Grade Accredited by NAAC. An Award Ceremony was organized by NAAC in Bangalore in which Dr. Naib Singh received the Certificate of Accreditation. |

| To fetch the hidden talent among students, a Talent Hunt Programme was organized in the seminar hall. Students participated in Elocution, Painting, Rangoli, Poem Recitation, Singing, Clay Modeling, Poster Making, and Debate etc. |
World Literacy Day 08/09/2012

| World Literacy day was observed in which students gave their views on the famous writers of the world on the birthday's of Bhai Kahan Singh Nabha,Leo Tolstoy, Amrita Pritam, Pash, Rasool Hamzatov and Wairam Sandhu .Students also share views on the current status of educational system. |
Teacher's Day Celebrated 05th September, 2012

| Teacher’s Day was celebrated by students with great fervor and enthusiasm. Students presented various poems, speeches and activities commemorated to the dedication of the teachers and their role in the life of students. |
Fresher's Party 29/08/2012

| Fresher's Party was organized for the batch of 2012-13 in which about all the students took active part in the activities. The event was marked by group dance, songs, jokes and other artistic activities. Dr Naib Singh Principal welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. |
Moral Lecture by G.S Sidhu dated 22/08/2012

| College has started the series of `Moral Lectures` for the ethical development of Pupil teachers under the supervision of Ms Sapna Soni. Moral Lecture of Admin. Officer BFGI Mr. G.S.Sidhu was organized to inculcate moral values among the students. He told in detail about the discipline & its importance in our life. In the ‘Answer me Segment’ student Amandeep Kaur was the winner. In the end Principal Dr. Naib Singh gave vote of thanks to Mr. Sidhu. |
Tree Plantation by NSS Deptt. Dated 17/08/2012

| Tree plantation programme was organized by NSS Deptt. In the college campus under the leadership of programme Officer S.Kulwinder Singh. Trees were planted by Principal, Teachers and Students. Principal Dr. Naib Singh encouraged students to perform such type of activities in life for the green environment. |
Orientation Day 14 August 2012-13

| An Orientation Program of the college was organized on 14th August, 2012 for the session 2012-13. Vice-Principal S. Kulwinder Singh welcome the guests and students. Various Departments of BFGI as T & P, Guidance & counseling; ERP, Social welfare etc. gave their presentations for the betterment of the students. Staff was introduced to the new students. Managing Director of BFGI Dr.Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal & Director Admn. Mrs Paramjeet Kaur Dhaliwal were specially invited on this occasion and gave best wishes to the students. At the End Principal Dr. Naib Singh gave Vote of thanks to all the students & the Invitees and gave blessing for the bright future. Stage was conducted by the alumni members Ms. Pawandeep Kaur, Ms. Swarn Kaur & Mr. Gagandeep Singh. |
