Panel discussion "Promotion of Punjabi language as a regional languages"

A panel discussion is one of the most popular approaches to discussing trending topics in front of an audience. It fosters productive learning relationships among panellists and participants. In addition, it allows everyone to reflect and think critically when listening to different perspectives. Similarly, as a moderator in a panel event, you must lead gracefully and win over the audience. By doing this, you can clearly communicate the event agenda and goals that can make virtual discussions engaging and effective.Punjabi association of Baba Farid college of Education organized a panel discussion on "Promotion of Punjabi language as regional language" at 1:30 p.m. on 24 January 2023 in conference room at BFCE. Astaff members andthree B.Ed internship students of Baba Farid college of Education participated in this activity. Staff members discussed to each other that Regional languages play a vital role in shaping our personality in one way or other. Besides, being fluent in our respective mother Punjabi tongue is necessary. No arguments here. Moreover, the importance of preserving Punjabi languages has increased with our education system . Thus, it is important that every state in the country include their respective regional language in the curriculum.

Assistant Professor Manpreetkaur said that responsibility of college and parents to induce interest in students to take up learning a different regional language apart from their Punjabi mother tongue. Instead of forcing a particular language on the students, schools should introduce Punjabi Literature clubs on the campus as a part of extra-curricular activities. This way, interested students can join such clubs and enjoy learning a different Indian language and Punjabi language without having to stress about marks, the monster. In the end of the session all staff members discussed to each other about As we can see, Punjabilanguage as a regional languages have, are, and always will play an important role in the socio-economic and political situation of a nation as well as the educational advancement of a country’s society. It can really bring together people of a community and help them connect with each other better. This is not an attempt at glorifying a particular regional language or playing down the importance of national languages but is rather a reminder to connect with one’s roots and understand the cultural relevance and historical significance of something that is simply considered one’s mother tongue - there is a lot more power to knowledge than meet.

Computer Education

Where computers are widespread, they are also a part of education. Computers are used in schools & Colleges for many applications such as writing papers or searching the Internet for information. Computer skills are also a subject being specifically taught in many schools, especially from adolescence onward - when the ability to make abstractions forms.

One problematic element of many (though not all) "computer literacy" or computer education programs is that they may resort too heavily on rote memorization. Students may be taught, for example, how to perform several common functions (e.g.: Open a file, Save a file, Quit the program) in very specific ways, using one specific version of one specific program. When a graduate of such a program encounters a competing program, or even a different version of the same program, they may be confused or even frightened by the differences from what they learned. This is one reason why major computer and software firms such as Apple Computer and Microsoft consider the educational market important: The often time-limited computer education provided in schools most often lends itself to rote memorization, creating a sort of vendor lock-in effect whereby graduates are afraid to switch to competing computer systems
